Coach Dimmitt

coach_yell-fWhen I first became interested in training several years ago, I remember having a difficult time finding useful information. Sure, there were plenty of articles to read, tools to use, and philosophies to contemplate, but I remember having a very hard time figuring out what I should actually go do.

Today, climbers who are new to training have the opposite problem. It seems that new training programs, exercises, and success stories are released into the blogosphere almost every day. The challenge becomes sifting through and making sense of it all.

I am no training expert. I have, however, learned a LOT about training that I wish I had known when I was 20 years old and in the metaphorical ‘dark’. My hope with this page is to share what I have learned, and help wandering rock climbers find the road to long term improvement. The information I share here may not make you climb harder tomorrow, but if you are excited about chasing big dreams, and are willing to put in some work along the way, then read on my friends.

1. Brutal Honesty

2. Practice Always

3. Training Hard, or Hardly Training? [coming sometime…]
